I’m Wende Gonzales, founder of Social Grace Media LLC. I’ve been in business since 2013.
One of my favorite quotes is from Howard Thurman:
Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
After working as an accountant at the same company for 20 years, I realized that I didn’t feel alive anymore. While in discernment about what to do next, I was asked these questions: What makes you come alive? What do you find yourself doing when you should be doing something else? One of my answers was: Social media. I founded Social Grace Media LLC in 2013 and, with its success, left that accounting job a year later.
My niche is building online presence for churches and other spiritual communities, and their internal and external organizations. I also have experience that is helpful to professional practices, non-profits and small businesses. I enjoy coaching individuals and small groups as well.
As a lifelong member of The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), working on the staff of a United Church of Christ conference, and serving on the launch team of an interfaith/non-faith community, I know how to reflect a spiritual community’s individuality online through its newsletters, social media, website, and blog.
I’m creative, intuitive, enthusiastic, and patient. I have a great sense of humor and you will probably enjoy working with me. My beliefs might be different than yours, but we can coexist, learn from each other and have a pleasant working relationship.
